DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING:

Preparation
In order to maximize their benefits from participating in this course, participants should be fluent in English (at least B2 level of language competency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Participants should also bring learning materials their trainees usually use and which they will learn to implement in digital form.

 

Objectives
The objectives of the course include:

  • familiarizing participants with state of the art in the field of learning paradigms, learning theories, their principles and implications for the teaching/learning process,
  • providing participants with hands-on experiences in using several free digital learning content authoring tools,
  • providing participants with practical hands-on experience leading to development of practical skills in designing digital learning materials based on learning theories' implications,
  • sharing of experiences and good practices in introduction of technology into classroom and learning environment.

 

Methodology
The methodology underlying the course will include:

  • lecturing as a mean of delivering necessary theoretical background to the participants,
  • group discussions as a mean of verbalizing new knowledge and analyzing it from the perspective of previous experiences,
  • practical hands-on experiences as a mean of demystifying and familiarizing with new technologies,
  • knowledge transfer and reinforcement,
  • best practice examples as a mean for motivation and further development.
